Here's what's happening next:
1. BackerKit Surveys Will Arrive
BackerKit is a service we are using to allow you to manage your pledge easily. Through BackerKit, you will be able to:
Let us know your shipping address, and change it anytime before we ship
Choose your Jack and silicone case colors. You can mix it up with any combination as well
Purchase more add-on Jacks or accessories at the Kickstarter price
We will send out the invitation survey to create your BackerKit profile in approximately 2 weeks.
Please make sure to solve any issues with your payment method before this time!
Kickstarter will remind you and give you 2 weeks if your credit card did not process correctly. If you are unable to fix it during this time, you will not be able to join our campaign and receive any Jacks.
2. Progress Updates
As the title says, expect to be updated on how and what we are doing. Now we begin the next step in our journey to make Jack a reality!

You Deserve It - Sport Case Unlocked Early!

Dear Backers,
We welcomed 1,200 new backers to our campaign yesterday, making it the most active day of the campaign yet! You've also just made Jack the most funded campaign we've ever run.
As a show of gratitude, we are unlocking our $800k stretch goal early. You can now order the silicone sport case, and we will be producing it in time for delivery with your Jacks.
According to the vote, the results were split closely between Black (as "other"), White, and Blue. So instead one one color, we will release all three!
To order the case, go to our campaign page to "Manage Pledge" and add $8 to your total Pledge Amount. We will ask you for your color choice after the campaign.

Dear Backers,
With two weeks left, we are officially halfway done with this stage of our journey together!
Our group now numbers of 10,000 backers! This is the most ever among our campaigns. Welcome to all of the new backers :)
Today, our second round of prototype electronics arrived:
This is the PCB (printed circuit board) that powers Jack. Tiny, right? Jack punches way above his size though!
In the background is our electrical engineer, Fitz. He designed these boards and is also responsible for programming the LEDs, button, and battery charging circuit in this design, among other things.
Pictured on the desk are two Jack PCBs. Here we are testing the Sharing function of the Jacks, optimizing the connection process and the synchronization. (Also pictured is a PCB from Podo, our last product!)
Close-up. The orange boards are used for programming and testing the firmware on the Jacks. You can see how the headphone connector is easily the largest component on the boards, taking about 25% of the space. We can see why phones are starting to ditch them... luckily Jack will be here soon to make up for it!

As promised, check out this video of the Share Mode in action!
In the above video, we have two Jack PCBs each plugged into the aux input of two separate speakers. They are both playing audio from the same phone in perfect synchronization.
As you can see above, Jack works with speakers as well as headphones. You could also use one speaker and one headphone, or any other combination. Each Jack receives full stereo sound.
This sharing feature is another thing that sets us apart from any other adapter, and we're excited to bring you a video of it today!

7 Days Left! + Latency Demo

Dear Backers,
Welcome to the final week of our campaign! We're super excited to have crossed the $500k mark. Today we have another video demo of the sharing mode in action.
This time, the Jacks are hooked up to speakers and placed about 20 feet apart. They are connected and synchronized perfectly over Bluetooth. As you can see from the video, there is basically no discernible lag in the audio. This is even before we implement aptX in these prototypes, and they are in sharing mode (it's even faster when using one normally). We're going to continuously improve the Bluetooth connection but we're already happy with the results!
